CDM for solid waste reduction

Surabaya is going to be a pioneer in promoting co-benefit CDM for waste segregation and individual waste composting. In a meeting on 25 June 2007 in Kitakyushu, it was agreed to start a project for a co-benefit CDM for Surabaya under assistance of Ministry of Environment of Japan, OECC, ICLEI-Japan and the city of Kitakyushu.
